| I had the chance to hit the international motorcycle show at the IX center in Cleveland. Enjoyable enough experience. It was great to sit on a such a variety of bikes and feel the different positions and build philosophies. The only thing that was missing was Triumph. Really wish they had been there. Bike of the show for me was the BMW K1300S. That has to be about as fine as a motorcycle ever built. The position, the seat, the routing of cables all noticeably superior to most bikes, those Germans sure do know how to engineer a motorcycle. A special thanks to the folks at Yamaha who pushed bikes around and generally just went out of their way to help me take pictures of their products. The folks at Yamaha America seem like wonderful folks. Makes that new R1 even more attractive. |
